Historical Exhibits - Rhythm Museum

The Rhythm Museum has been featured in many state and national publications, along with The Memorial Wall of Fame located on the northen end of the facility is highly respected by the community. Presently, there is a limited amount of preservation and conservation support for Baton Rouge's music tradition. The Buddy Stewart Music Foundation focuses on giving this support to Baton Rouge's African American heritage by:

• Unifying local performing artists, giving them a venue to perform and learn more abou tthe tradition they represent.
• Help network our local artsts to new audiences
• Provide historical information to scholars and others seeking knowledge of those artists who shaped the flavor of South Louisiana.
• Create opportunity for the community to interact and work with our projects at the foundation and the artists who visit and entertain.

The Rhythm Museum's interior atmosphere displays past and present artists of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas and their musical contributions and accomplishments. These exhibits help the community to better understand the significance of the Baton Rouge artist.
